Hi there,

in my blog the authors name is showed as a link. But clicking on the link there is no information about the authors showed.
I get an empty space on the webpage. Even by clicking in the category listing as clicking in the displayed item.
Information about the author is filled at the backend (K2 users).

When I enable the settings in Item display options/authors options to visible, the authors information is showed under each article.
But that's not what I needed: not under each article, but only when a visitor clicks on the authors name link.

How can I fix this?

(using K2 with a template override for a blogsection.

Is it working without the overrides?
Can you check the user's page using a different template?

Without the override it isn't working.
(in the override I didn't change that part).
It doesn't work even with another template.

My template is a Joomlashine template and good compatible with K2.
My website only uses K2items and k2 categories and K2users.
So I expected no problem with the authors link.

Try the following:

a) Assign some categories in the menu item's options
(if the user is assigned to a menu item)

thanks for your answers and suggestions, but it was finally much easier to fix:
I saw a button: K2Parameters.....
In that part all the items about author were set to 'hide'.
I changed the items to 'display or show or enable' (don't know the exact description while i use the dutch version) and: IT WORKS!!!

sorry that I didn't check the parameters earlier.
For so far: my problem is solved.
