Load module in text was created by JPACK
Hi,
I know this should be simple, but I can´t get it to work and also can´t find an article that can help me.
I am trying to load a module in my K2 article text.
This is what I am writing {loadmodule "modulename"}
I can get it to work if I load the module using {loadposition "position"} but I rather use the module name for the overview in my system.
So, the question is - what I am doing wrong?
Have I completely missed something here?
Why is it working fine with loadposition, but not with loadmodule?
The site I am working on is not online, so I can´t give you a link.
Hope someone can help.
Cheers,

Hello,
Is {loadmodule} working throughout your site?

I am not sure what you mean by "throughout your site".
But I have tried both {loadmodule} and {loadposition} in K2 and native Joomla articles. Only {loadposition} is working!
When I use the module in any position on my site, fx left, right or main-top position, then it is working well.
Is there a special plug-in I need to activate for this?

Is loadmodule working in Joomla! articles or other extensions?

If it is not working in Joomla!'s articles then this issue is not related to K2.
Take a look at this link www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/loadposition-loadmodule/

Hi Krikor,
Thanks for your link.
I see now that I misunderstood how it works.
I thought I could take any module, put in the setting I want and name it fx. "Latest News" and then use {loadmodule Latest News}.
Anyway - I know how it works now, so everything ok.
Thanks for your help

@JPACK
You can do what you want to do. Just make sure that you are using the correct tag. Since this is a core plugin, you can always refer at the official Joomla! documentation at docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_put_a_module_inside_an_article%3F .

hmmm.......then I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
Just as a test - I have tried to add the K2 Comment module to a Joomla article.
If I use {loadposition} then it works fine - but not with [loadmodule}
In our case we will create 3 different modules using the K2 Comment module - each module with different settings.
Let say we call them - K2 Comment1, K2 Comment2 and K2 Comment3.
Now - if I add {loadmodule K2 Comment1} to my article, nothing happens. Where the module should be, I only have blank page.
The module is working fine if I add it to a position in the template, fx "Right". Then it is shown fine!
So I thought the name I should put in, is the name I have called my module, the module title! [loadmodule "module title"}
But I guess that is where I am wrong.

A blank page indicates a PHP error. Set error reporting to Maximum to see the actual error message.
You can also load a module by type. For example to load the mod_login module you can use {loadmodule login}.
