How to remove this.

This is unrelated to K2. You deleted the author of the item, the user with ID 762. You need to manually set these items' author to another user.

is there a way to set a fallback user ? it seems someone deleted the creator of several hundred articles on a site and it gives alot of error pages. I have seen easyblog has this future in their system

Unfortunately this has to be done manually, change the author of each item or through the database.

ok then i will have to go find the sql to execute to do this, as doing it manually for 4000+ articles takes way to long time...

You should really look into implementing a failback user info to use, so that the error cannot happend on a page.
