Hi, i been trying to attach an .exe file to my k2, but it doesn't attach it, i know that .exe isn't a very problematic extension and i know that i was going to have some problems to attach this kind of files. What i have done untill now its:
Add the .exe as a valid extension in jce, at the navegarion file > allowed extensions, add it to the "archive" group.
At multimedia (joomla) options i added exe to my allowed extensions and application/x-msdownload to my allowed mime types

But hasn't work untill now, i need a hand or any sugestions to try. But its a state site and installing jdowloads or other download manager isn't an option.

I think you will have issues with users trying to download the exe file as well.

In your position I 'd compress it and attach the .zip file.
