I am using extra fields in K2 blog. I have created an 'extra fields group'. Then i've added some extra fields in this group. I have chosen this group in 'associated extra fields group'. Backend everything is correct, but when i look at the frontend, i see the following: typeTextfield group1"> (see screenshot: imgur.com/a/gCrcw)

Seems you have a typo in the extra fields section of the item.php template file.

This can be happen when you override this file, or in case any installed K2 plugin that works with extra fields.

So, check the syntax of the exra fields section in your template item.php
if it is correct, try disable K2 plugins and enable them one by one to find out which one has this problem.

after years I also have the problem right know. Do you have an idea/tipp about changing stuff in template.
I take a long look, but I think I look in the wrong way.

Since this is template specific I can only point you to the files (overrides) since I am not familiar with each developer's codebase.

thanks for answer.

I know this, I use K2 on so many client installations, and all "K2 Stuff" is in overrides and not in theme folders.

I only wondering, that I have this problem. The last change in template or in the K2 overrides were August 2016, its 1 1/2 years ago. So thats the point I can't find the problem.

I move an old item.php into the problem-web. And it works. So we can close the post.
