Hi guys,
when I log into Joomla and go to the K2 component -> items and I use the filter to search for a word say "John" and click search it always kicks me back to the administrator home page, index.php.

The search filter works fine on all of the other pages in K2 except the items in K2.
Has anyone experienced this problem or know whats happening here?

I managed to fix the problem. I am not sure if this is the right fix, however, for now, it sure seems to work.

The solution:

I went to plugins and did a quick search for K2 plugins.

Then opened up the plugin: "Search - K2"

and then clicked Enable searching in tags to "yes"

and then it all started working.

Why ? I have no idea why...... and I am not sure if this is the actual fix, but I am thankful that it is working now.

no the plugins in the search were not unpublished. Unfortunately, the problem has come back.

When I go to k2 > Items and then clicked on display ALL.
It shows all the items ( About 900 Articles)

Now when I go and look for something again, it bounces the page back to index.php with no results.
When I go back and try to change ALL to 20, again same thing happens.

Could this be related to a memory / cache problem ?
