Is there any php-code I can insert to show the meta description from the menu item on a tag-page?

This can be done with Joomla!'s API, although which menu item are you refferirng to?

Then there is no need to do this,
Joomla! has these settings in the menu item's parameters.

As "Tags" pages not needs to be linked with a menu voice (it is in the "Tag page" nature to be a "without menu voice" page), like Joomla Tags System, a single K2 tag needs a field for insert Meta Title and Meta Description.
I hope we can see these fields in the next version.

Improvements will come as part of a broader change in frontend meta tag. But adding 2 more fields in the tag edit form to append a unique meta title & description is probably overkill.
