Nothing visible - lightbox required? was created by dgoadby
I am using the standard release of Joomla and just added Simple Image Gallery Pro. I am a newbie to Jooomla but have added quite a few Mambots with no problems.

When I added a gallery to a content page nothing showed at all. I used the tags {gallery}/folder{/gallery} but cannot see any thumbnails when I view the page.

I see references to Lightbox and other popup engines but, to my knowledge, I haven't installed any of them. Is this the reason I don't see anything? How/where do I get a pop-up engine?

Hi there!

You said you use the default version/tempalte of joomla, ok?

First you install the mambot, after that, go to the folder images/stories ( using if you want the Media Manager of the Joomla ) and create a folder ( lets named it demoFolder ).

In that folder you can put the images (jpg, gif, png ) you want.

Publish the mambot.

After that you can go to a content item, and add the line

{gallery}demoFolder{/gallery}

Save the item, and look the content item, at the frontend of the Joomla site.
You will see the thubs created from the images of the demoFolder

The engine of the pop up you can select it, at the edit-page of the SIG module.

Thank you!
