I haven't yet seen this problem reported. As I'm using a template club template for my site, I had to go in and take out the calls to mootools and slimbox js files as instructed on this forum. After doing that, it appeared that everything was working fine. I clicked the thumbnail, the slimbox effect popped up the image. I mouse over the image and see the next and prev buttons appear.  However, the bottom portion does not slide down where the Close X controls are.  Can anyone tell me what's going wrong?

In an attempt to fix this problem, I even installed the latest version of slimbox but the problem persists.  Here's a link to see what is happening:

I saw your page with FF and IE7 and seems to work fine.
OK the Next/Prev. buttons with the rollover
and the Close button seems to be in its place.

Ohh that's because I changed the mambot to Easy-eXtended-Gallery which is very similar to SIG and it works without a problem.

I'm sorry, I no longer have it installed because I couldn't make it work and didn't get a reply on this forum quickly so I had to find another solution. FYI, I was using the Vintage template by Joomlashack, and loading the full mootools library with the template, removing calls to mootools and slimbox from any other components/mambots/modules as described in the FPSS forum.  The slimbox effect worked, except for the fact that the bottom portion of the slimbox windw wasn't sliding down to reveal the close x button, however the other two next and prev buttons did appear. Perhaps you can duplicate it..
