My album is not in the "images" folder, because that's not the media folder. It has another name to distinguish it from the Joomla! images folder.

When I specify the folder "Album", the plugin expects to find the images in "images/Album", but that's not where they are!

The top folder should be the same as the media folder, or bettter: It should be configurable.

OK, I looked for plugin options but couln't find any. Anyway, I went into the code and changed the hard-coded "images/stories" folder, so I got i to work, but this gallery is not what I was looking for.

To its credit I'll say this: It was the only one I tried (so far) that actually worked (in a way); the others didn't work at all.
With so many different galleries out there, it's strange that it's so hard to find one that is free (Gotta try before I buy) and works without hours of hassle. I guess I'll end up writing one myself. :(

The option is named "Root folder for image galleries" . If you didn't find it then probably you edited the wrong plugin. The plugin does work. Revert the changes you made to the files and just enter the path to the plugin options.

OK, this will probably help someone else. I've decided not to use this plugin because it doesn't fit for my present site.
What I need is a "proper" album. :)
Maybe I'll use or make something stand-alone that will be much more flexible.
