Hello,

I am having an problem installing SIG on J1.5.3  When I run the install I get the following message:

JInstaller::install: Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
Unable to detect manifest file

There is an xml file in the folder so I am thinking it could be a Joomla issue? 

So my question for you is:
I can unzip the file, and upload he files directly to the server.  But.. where should I place them to make sure I dont "mess" anything up.  AND after I upload and place them in the right folders... is there anything else I need to do to make them run properly...

I experience the same problem. Do you found already a solution to solve this?

No so far I have not found a solution to this problem  I try to upload the plugin every day hoping it will come back uploaded.  But I know that is not going to happen unless I am able to solve the underlying issue. 

Hoping someone can help me and give me an alternative way of properly setting up the plug in using ftp on to my server and placing the files from the ziped file in the right place.
