I decided to try out the SIG before purchasing the pro version.  I installed on one domain and it worked wonderfully well.  So I thought I would try another which is on the same host.  The only difference is the one that did work was on J!1.0.11 and the one that did not was J!1.0.12.  I was trying to use it in a multiple content environment (more than one story on a page).  I get the following error message at the top of the story.

Warning: opendir(c:/mydomain.com/images/stories/sandiego) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: Invalid argument in c:\mydomain.com\mambots\content\plugin_jw_sig.php on line 46

Any help would be appreciated.

Any word on AllVideos that is to be released in June?

Replied by JoomlaWorks Support Team on topic Re: Error is SIG- when trying out before purchase of SIGPro
hi there!

The error say
failed to open dir
Can you see if this directory/folder exist?

If exist, can you see please the permissions for this folder?
If the permissions are 755 or 777, can you mail me the link for the site and an account to your administration panel to see the problem?!

Thank you!

It's a permissions issue. Ask your hosting company.  ;)

Duh....it is kind of a permissions problem, I guess. Just not able to go where the component was directing. I was having problems with another user being able to use the gallery.  I have a test copy of JWMedia running.
The user was using JWMedia to upload his pictures.  We did not catch that JWMedia assumes the base directory as already being stories.  Therefore, another stories directory was added and thought to be the main stories directory.  Therefore, adding a stories/sigallerydiretory/image.jpg......so two the path was actually "images/stories/stories/sigallerydirectory/image.jpg .

Check to make sure you understand and did not make the same mistake.  LOL
