Hey all, absolutely love this module. I was faced with a small problem though, in that there was no easy way to limit the length of the feed items title and descriptions.
Figuring that others might want this ability, I'm attaching the modified plugin.
The modification was done on v1.2 of the Simple RSS Feed Reader module (currently the latest release). It simply adds two new fields to the backend whereby you can include any numeric character limit to both the Title and Description fields. If left blank (as is default), it displays the whole thing.
This is useful if you are limited by space, but still want to give the user an idea of what the feed item is about. Additionally, the link's tooltip (title tag) contains the full title.
