Hello people, i solved the problem: just change the fotlder permisson for example:

by default:
/media/k2/attachments
/media/k2/categories
/media/k2/galleries
/media/k2/items
/cache
/src
/media/k2/users
/media/k2/videos

for chmod 757.

maybe is not secure, but it's work. K2 is not using the ftp layer that joomla provide.

Sorry for my english....I am new user...

Well Fransisco, that was pretty good! I even think the folder attributes have to be set to 777. I got it all working. I will add another thread on the zip upload which I haven't got the hang of yet, if it works I might add.

Gorm

[SOLVED!]
I found out through my host that it wasn't K2 at all!
Your hosting provider has to enable the Shell_exec on their server.
My host said they have it disabled for security reasons and that uploading images through K2 triggered an exe function, which was blocked.
They have enabled it and it is working great now!
