Ok. I've disabled Error Reporting under the Server Tab. I tried the ordering again and is still not working correctly. Would it be easier to provide you access to the development server?

Get the development version of K2 from getk2.org/assets/get . Is the order changed in the database when you re-order the items in the backend?

Hi Lefteris,
Thanks. I have installed the dev link you provided and referenced the database k2 items table of the changes I make in back-end... It didn't help but upon further inspection it turns out that the catid column some items had multiple ids assigned. This was probably from an older installation that had the multi-category component for k2 that is no longer used in this install. Once I made the items to only one category, the manual sorting now WORKS!

It's strange. The manual re-ordering works on my local machine server but once I copy the database and everything to the remote web server the manual re-ordering does not work correctly. I'm wondering if this might me a server delay issue or something? Your thoughts?

Check on the browser console the request made when you reorder items. It should return a 200 OK status. Check also the database for changes in the order field.

Ok I revisited this issue. It's really getting frustrating. I have installed a new copy of J3.4.3 and installed the latest dev build of K2 from github today. I created a bunch of sample items (about 30) and made them featured articles. Made a menu linked to the category blog and set to ordering. Now I manually order the items in the back-end and check on the front-end. The ordering does not match.
Checking out the inspector shows that each of the requests are 200 OK but then looking at the database table filtered feature order, they don't match the back-end of how I ordered them.
Is no one else experiencing this? It's a big issue. Is there a way to bring back the past ordering dropdown number menu beside each item until things get resolved?

Someone please help. Is there a working demo that I can compare and see if it's my environment that's possibly causing the issue. I can't figure this out and would really like to get this working.
