Hi, I think we are in the same boat! follow this thread, I've found a workaround for this issue and working with devs to have it solved www.joomlaworks.net/forum/k2-en/35250-featured-ordering-not-work?start=30#147478

Please test it to see if it breaks another ordering scenarios

OMG Your solution worked!!!!!! Thanks so much. After weeks of back and forth, it was still not ordering properly. We were looking into the DB values of the ordered and featured_order column and suspecting the 0 and duplicate values were causing the issue but it's clear that it's not.

Since I cannot reproduce the issue on our sites and new installs we cannot implement a new method.

We will test the proposal and if it is indeed the optimal solution, it will be included in the repo.
