The extensions that use a search I did on the site are:
Josetta - K2 Categories
Josetta - K2 Items
Search - K2
System - K2 nocache pagebreak
Accelerator for K2 system
System - K2
User - K2
They are the same that were on the site before upgrading to Joomla 3.6 and Joomla prior to 3:51 did not have any kind of problem.
The problem is now with Joomla 3.6 and K2 v2.7.0
Think I better off some of them if you can show me what I will do without problems.
As for what I have not spoken on the site and not know her.
I did some tests and hung up the Accelerator for K2 and even with it disabled the problem persists of images.
I disabled also System - K2 nocache pagebreak and even with both this and the previous disabled the problem continues, ie K2 v2.70 capture an image of the automatic order system.
In tests I notice that only occurs when saving the matter for the first time to remove the picture and then saved again this no longer occurs only with that matter.
But every new matter to put the problem repeats itself, ie it puts an image without I ask nothing.

This is the behaviour of a K2 plugin, we will find the culprit.
Did you install at any point this plugin github.com/getk2/k2-iaki ?

Is the image pulled from other K2 items or from the WYSIWYG editor?
Can you check in the content plugins?

IMPORTANT: In our system there is no such iaki installed, just look around the k2

I want to make a suggestion for K2 next updates.
In Basic articles Edit screen, should put the dates in this Tab 2 Publishing and Metadata
We've posted over 300 articles per day, we believe that leaves much faster if you have everything on one page., As it was in version 2.69 of k2.
It is a suggestion.
