Something breaks the request.
Which other securrity extensions/ rules are you using?
If you copy/ paste that URL into your browser are you getting any errors?
If you are getting a white page, enable error reporting so we can see the actual issue.

While in session I am able to copy and paiste that specific url into a browser and can navigate to the same page with no errors. I am only using RS Firewall. Not getting a white page. I am getting the Media Browser window as normal with the error message within.

Let's try a trail and error.
1) Backup
2) Disable extensions one by one to see if there is a conflict between extensions.
3) If Possible in the same environment can you install a clean version of vanilla J!/K2?

Hi
This is kinda hard with a heavily trafficked site and tons of components. The 3rd item I have no idea what you are referring to. Or what the measure will provide. Can you explain so that I have a sense of the effects on my client's site? I am not a coder so I am not familiar with most of the methods you have introduced. This problem arose just recently. I have not added any new components. We had a PHP upgrade and that is all other than the standard normal Joomla and component upgrades. Is there a bug in the new version of k2? Is there a way to get more focused help as we are moving very slowly and my client is at a standstill with K2. Please let me know. I am wanting to work hard on this but I do not understand what is going on and it had been nearly 2 weeks of conversing.
Thanks a ton for your help.

A vanilla installation of K2 is an installation which only has J! and K2.
This means that if it is a component conflict, the media manager will work.

If not it will fail again which will help us pinpoint the issue.

In both cases you can use the DEV version (in the clean installation) to see if that solves the issue.

HI Krikor - I rolled PHP back to 5.4 and now the media manager works. Does this indicate that there is a bug with this version of K2? DO you have any suggestions?

I reverted back to PHP 5.4. I had upgraded to 7.0 and the problem happened.
