You have to use the developer tools of the browser you are using. Then in the "Network" tab you should see all requests including the XHR requests of the media manager.

i used the developer tools of google chrome, but network tab is empty. please advice

Try again. Click on the network tab and look for the requests to this URL index.php?option=com_k2&view=media&task=connector .

This is what i mean. I could not know the token in your server. Now you found the request just check the response.

What's the response header status code ? Is it 200?
