Is SoundCloud not working currently? was created by Paul Adamson

I see on the demo page here demo.joomlaworks.net/allvideos under Example Audio the same results I get on my own site, which is that the javascript is in place along with the empty div, but no iframe.

Works fine now. It may have been some temporary availability issue with SoundCloud when you checked. What browser are you using?

Not working in Chrome Version 85.0.4183.102 (Official Build) (64-bit), nor in Edge Version 85.0.564.51 (Official build) (64-bit). Works fine in FF 80.0.1, which I neglected to check before. I see that there is an SSL warning about insecure content on the demo site, and for my own site I'm using SSL but on localhost, so perhaps that's why Chrome is blocking?

The insecure content warning on the demo site is shown because some avatar is called through HTTP. But that does not prevent SoundCloud from working as expected. Since you mentioned Chrome and Edge, check if you have some common plugin in these 2 browsers (since they are both based on Chromium). My guess is some plugin is causing the problem for you. Alternatively, check the demo site on a private window in Chrome, in which case, by default all plugins will be disabled.

And the culprit is PrivacyBadger by EFF. I have reported the issue to them.

Glad you found the culprit :)

My guess is the plugin blocks SoundCloud overall because it probably loads trackers.
