Video's playing in a popup window was created by shannon briggs

I know this has been a requested feature for well over 10 years: Having the video play in a pop-up window once the user clicks the thumbnail graphic.

This is fairly standard in Wordpress websites these days using the ARVE pro plugin.. So is there a simple way to do this using the K2 media tab in Joomla?

How are you guys doing this in 2021?

Popups, especially video popups are not really practical. Making a popup though is fairly simple (from a quick search: www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_modals.asp), it doesn't have to be a built-in feature in K2 or AllVideos.

And to be honest, you're the first to ask (at least on my watch)...
