Only code is displayed, as text. No video. was created by dfjordan
Hey. I'm trying to use the AllVidoes plugin with the media manager. I installed everything fine, and everything is published and running, but when I type in the {flv}filename{/flv} and hit preview, whether the wysiwyg editor is on or off, it just shows the code displayed as text, or just a blank screen. I've tried in both firefox and safari on my mac laptop.
Any ideas?

Same here!?
I have followed all the instructions.
1. Installed bot.
2. Created directory /videos. Uploaded a test wmv video into the images/stories/video/ directory and then put the {wmv}VehicleForWomen{/wmv} code into a test content item.
But this is what I get -
This is my site. www.wycliffe.org.nz/new
It is not live for another week or 2.
I have searched in this forum for other threads but only found this one?
Any suggestions. This looks like a really great plugin if only I could get it going.
Thanks,
Greg

I think the default folder is videos with the "s" not video.

OK - it works when you click the link.
But it isn't showing on the frontpage - Why?
It shows on the frontpage when I make a new module and publish it on the front page.
So why doesn't the content item show the video on the front page? Why do you have to click the link? It is published in JA-News module which is part of the template. That may have something to do with it??
Any other suggestions would be great.
Thanks for your help!

Another update:
The module works ok in IE7 but when I view in FireFox2 I think two modules interfere with each other?? The Test Video Module is published on the right of the screen and will load and show on the front page. But when JA-News rolls over its first story, the picture on the video disappears in FF?? That is wierd. I wonder if they are using some common thingy?
Any comments?
Cheers,
Greg

I've just realised that the featured article - JA-Tabs module interferes with it too.
If you hover the mouse over the tabs it will cause the picture to disappear.
Strange but true!
More food for thought...
