Struggling to change or upload image was created by jim chestnut

Just installed Frontpage Slideshow on a test website. I can add change a story but not an image.
The Fpss folder. What I did do(temp solution was to download the images from the fpss folder, replace with mine and upload again) But that is no solution.

Frontpage Slideshow 3.12
Joomla 3.13
PHP version 7.2.10
MySQL version 5.5.60-0+deb7u1-log
GD Image library bundled (2.1.0 compatible)
Upload limit 64M
