Where can i find this setting ? was created by PJEM Borsje
I have installed K2 and stripped it down via settings into
a easy to use, simple catalog
On the main categories page i have displayed 7 categories, however below it
the content and listing from category nbr 2 is showing ...
a1webdesign.info/useful-links
The main categories page should only show the categories available of course
and nothing else
Which setting do i need to check and where can i find this ?
thanks

Hi,
You have to set 'catalog Mode' of the main category to 'Yes'.
If you want the same behavior for sub categories, you have to to the same for all sub categories or the best to do is to configure sub categories to inherit parameters from the main category.

It partly worked, I changed those settings to '0' and the content of the
child category does not show on main page, so far so good
but the content of the child categories if you click them shows nothing now..
the child categories have setting to inherent to main category but now don't show
