cannot add image in frontend

What are you using to upload the image?
Have you check folder permissions?
Does the user have permission to upload?
What file format is being used?
What joomla/K2 versions are you using?
Just some initial questions.

the latest k2 2.5....
the issue is that it says that I don't have permission to even get into uploading and image, it's completely locked, Im emailing you the infos to get into the back end and frontend.

image1:when I click on image on first page: You are not authorised to view this resource.
see on image 2: when I click on browse server... evrything is locked and i try upload image and get:
Unable to upload "name.jpg".
Permission denied.

- Im using Joomla 1.7.3
- K2: 2.5.4
- Back end seems to work just fine
- Front end joomla articles seems to have no issues.
- My permissions on my server all seem correct for the Joomla images and media folders.
- Im new to the added 1.7 feature of super user permissions but all seems set correct for super user. I have changed nothing.

I have the same problem :(
I have a menu item that is set to be visable only to "special" usertypes... the menu item is the front end add a blog view from k2....
The view loads just fine... and it seems to work... however when I try to add any images by clicking the image button below the editor I see the error:
Error
You are not authorised to view this resource.
EDITOR = JCK
JOOMLA = 1.7.2
If anyone solves this... we would LOVE to know :-/
