I go to K2 in components.
I select Items
I type something in the filter box
I click Go
It always shows up blank. Even though I know some of the stuff is there.
It works if I'm creating a menu item, it just doesn't work in the normal K2 bit.

i am using joomla 2.5.
The item filter In the back end does not seem to work, by 'not working' i mean that it seems to only get some results, either the first or second word of the item title is found by the filter. this has happened before on an joomla 1.5 install. it seems to not be a common problem so i presume it must be some configuration issue that i cannot find. it is of course a massive problem, but since no one except me and this guy seem to have the problem, no one will ever explain the answer.
i have changed the parameters on administration filter from title (simple) to 'all', but this does nothing.

This has been a reoccurring problem for me also. I find that the filer sometimes works and sometimes not. For instance the site I just had this happen on is a J 2.5.7 using k2 2.5.7. I have 244 items. I used the K2 import from Joomla articles. This accounts for 209 of the 244 k2 items.
If I use the title filter to search for a k2 item that came from the import, the filter returns no results. Even if copy paste the title. If I do a title filter search for an k2 item that i created from scratch then I get results.
This is the first time I have run across any logic to this bug. I belive this bug logic will hold up.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jack Hughes

I am experiencing the same problem. Some items can be found via the filter, some can not.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

I have a number of unhappy clients and content workers at my work that have to search/filter 1000+ K2 items. This bug is making it really hard to work with K2.
Can one of the K2 Developers please respond to this and give us some feedback? I would be happy to help debug this problem.
Thanks

K2 uses MySQL full-text search which includes stop-words.
