Ordering within the menu item was created by troponin

Fotis wrote this in hier 2.5.1 Blog Post

One more important change that has been introduced is the option to override single category ordering within the menu item. This is extremely helpful when you want to create e.g. 2 links to the same category but with a different ordering for items. It's like what we do here for the K2 Showcase for example. You see a small menu above the main showcase grid with 2 options to see the showcase by date added or by popularity.

Can someone plz tell me how tho activate this Option ?
Maybe I am blind, but I can't find the Option for this.

ARe you looking for item ordering in the Basic Options of a new menu item..
There is one for single category and also one for multi categories?

I searched the default override folder for "sortingMenu" - no joy
Also looked thru the new module and menu options - no joy
and also the k2 options - no joy
However they are doing it, it is not obvious for sure

It's the new parameter added in the K2 Categories menu item. There's a distinct region below the category selector where you can override the ordering of items fetched. It's how we do it in this site as well. ;)

Just make sure you use different "aliases".
