User Extended Field Issue was created by David Mc

Hello Everyone,

I am new to K2 and have a couple questions I need help with. Today I downloaded and installed the "User and Extended Fields" plugin and rec an error when I click on the My Page link to view it. Below is what I am getting:

Needless to say I am a little lost lol. Also If i try to edit my profile I get a pop up that says:

Calendar.Setup
Nothing to setup: (No fields found) Please check your code

Can anyone give me a point in the right direction to get this fixed?

Any help is appreciated :)

Ok, figured out the user extended field issue. Doesn't look like it is compatible with J1.7. Still need help with the other error thought :P

Yea, I am kind of bummed as well. I was hoping that they would be working on a version that is compatible with Joomla 1.7/ :(

I agree Rick. I am new to K2 but it appears to have the features I am looking for but still having the second problem with the "Calendar.setup" error. Still have no idea what this is! Guess I am going to go back to the core ACL and permission settings to do what I want. :(

Update K2 and Joomla! to their latest stable versions. The error regarding the calendar means that it cannot find the field to make the calendar. Have you removed any fields?

I have this same error message. I have updated Joomla to 2.5.7 and K2 to 2.5.7.

Any thoughts on what I could be overlooking?

Thanks for the reply. I have not removed any fields that I know of.

I am not seeing a calendar issue.

Did you read the thread? The plugin is only compatible with Joomla! 1.5 and you are using Joomla! 2.5.

Sorry about that. I completely looked over that part. Thanks for pointing it out.

Do you know if a 2.5 version of this plugin is in the works?

If not, any suggestions on how I can display additional User Fields on an item? (I want to be able to show the authors social profiles like twitter, G+, etc)

I think I first saw this at the JED
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension-specific/k2-extensions/12557

It is marked as being 2.5 compatible. Is this a mistake?

any reply? I am getting same problem when I go to "My Page" after logging in as K2 user.

I tried to reinstall the extension "User Extended Fields for K2" and was blocked. Not sure if reinstall would help any...if so I can delete from server and reinstall.

Any ideas?

I am new to this forum and topic but I am pretty sure that this extension does not work with Joomla 2.5 and I am not sure if there are any plans to update the extension to Joomla 2.5.

I would love to see this extension brought up to 2.5.
