link to item doesn't work was created by Wayne Denny

I'm displaying my blog as a k2 module. All my blog posts show up with the author photo, the introtext and a photo for the post. When I click to 'read more' it says that the link isn't working and it can't find the item.

Any ideas? I'm using joomla 1.7 and I just updated to the latest version of K2.

Hi Wayne,

Did you add custom link title and url under the other options?

I should also add that items older than 1 week are working fine. This problem is only happening with new items that I publish.

Do you have any seo extensions installed or have you tried clearing cache ?

I'm pretty sure I have no SEO extensions and I just now tried to clear the cache and nothing happened. I'm still getting this error "404 - COM_CONTENT_ERROR_ARTICLE_NOT_FOUND"

Something to do with the menu settings, because the articles that work displays but only with the home button and the rest is missing (Blog - About Us - Pictures -Etc) Have you tried linking the Blog menu into K2 Categories ?

I just tried the change with the blog menu and then the whole blog page gives the 404 error message.

To be more precise, when I link the k2 content to the menu item, the whole page gives the 404 message. When I link the menu item to a category that I don't use but simply publish my k2 content as a module, then the old blog posts show up, but the new ones give the error message when I click on the 'read more' section.

oh yeah. She's helping me with this. And she's definitely the smarter of us two so feel free to just respond to her topic. I found that topic and can start checking that one.

Hi,
please can you point me to topic of Joanna i have same problem with my site :angry: and i cant find that topic :blink: ¨

I did try to use joomla css and result was same, so it must be something......
