I am familiar with Joomla and a little bit with K2 but need a little help. I am looking to set up a site similar to Punchfork.com or webarena.rs/ - Would like the images to display on the homepage or within categories, hover over the image with some information such as category, user who submitted content, rating and then the user can click through to a full page with more detailed information.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Don't quite understand the hover over image part.

Sorry, the hover idea is a bit confusing.

I would just like a page set up like punchfork.com homepage and then when you click on the image, you are brought to a page with more details such as a review of a product or similar.

Is there anyway to achieve this type of homepage layout with K2? I have attached a screenshot of what I'm looking to do.

- Display images in columns on homepage
- Title on the image (like the attachment)
- Have some basic information under the image: rating, username who submitted, category
- When image is clicked on, you are taken to a new page with more detailed information such as a product review

Yes, this is possible with K2. Some css customization and template override will do the trick.
