I know this topic has been discussed on the old Ning site but was hoping someone from K2 had some new insight. Reading a couple of topics on the Kunena site, the Kunena Dev's are pointing to an unwillingness by K2's dev's to move forward with the Kunena Discuss / K2 integration. Does anyone know if K2 is planning on working with Kunena to get their discuss bot working, especially now the K2 uses Kunena?

I've seen this post as well.......This would be an awesome addition to both K2 and Kunena ...someone with the skills needs to make this happen...

The Kunena team has wanted this for a while, and with K2 now using kunena you would think this was a easy sell.... :dry:

Another option would be integrating k2 users with kunena users.

This forum is built with kunena and it is in the getk2.org so I guess they have thought about it??

Who knows rarely if ever do you get a response from anyone at K2.

Please tell me, how would you see the integration work?

I think most people will have different "wants" so I would be interested to see what people really think this should work like.

At least it would be great to see the user profiles share information and avatars.
And auto update since there is no link at all between the profiles.
Now you have to upload an avatar for both profiles.

Besides that it would be great if there would be a direct way to link a menu item or another link to the your-profile/profile?layout=edit page instead of having to link it yourself or link the Discuss profile link to it.

I think it would be great to see that page in a k2 extended fields/Discuss merged kind of way with all the information in 1 place. But of course there will need to be a fix for the calendar issue which I now resolved by turning off the birth date.

- Share the user profile page
- Get in the user profile page the list of content he added in the site via K2 + topics on the forum where he replied or created.
