K2_Title Font Size and other problems was created by Pido Mumm
Dear all,

I'm new here and new to Joomla and K2 as well.

I've got a problem with a page: someone recently reinstalled K2 and now the page looks rather strange in some aspects, e.g. www.ifkurds.de/en/publications/item/7-deutsch-kurdisches-glossar-zentralkurdisch-soranî.html

The size of the title is HUGE now and I have no idea how to change it. I have firebug, but I don't know how to use it properly and where to find the relevant line.

Hopefully someone can help.

I'm quite a newbie to this and need an instruction greenhorns!

Thanks so much in advance

Pido

Dear Pido,

You can change it in k2.css

Thank you so much for answering:

but where and how do I go to the K2 css?

Sorry, I know this might sound like an unbelievable question, but I'm not that much familiar with html and css. I can work the Joomla Backend and K2-stuff, though.

And where do I see the information that you have posted (font-family and so on?) Is that via firebug?

Thanks again.

Pido

Ok, I can see the information as you said.

But where to change it now? Where do I have to go to?

Sorry for being bugging...

You need to open that k2.css file with your text editor like notepad, and change the font-size value and save.

Sorry, I don't get it: what kind of file?

I mean, I can see the information in firefox browser, when entering the website-adress/components/com_k2 and so on. I have this in my browser. That is not file, isn't it?

Is there something that I can do in the Joomla backend?

I don't know...

Where to find that css file?

I can find only JYAML-css files...but nothing with k2...where should this be now?

Mh, all I can say is, that the page had been designed with joomla and k2. Don't know if that usually works via local hosts or via web. I'm not the one who initially created the website. I'm just the one who has to add and translate information. I'm also not working with the PC that the page originally had been created with, so maybe there are files on that PC.

Oh, ok, I access my website only via websitename.com/administrator

In this way I enter the Joomla Backend, where I can change entries and so on.

OK, if you have the FTP access to your webhosting, then you can edit the k2.css file in the components/com_k2/css folder.

If you do not have the access, then i suggest contacting the person who has it.

If you're using templates like for example from YOOtheme, then from the backend you can goto the template area and modify the custom.css file

just add
