Different frontend form tempates? was created by Roman Lipatov
Hello.
Is it real to create different forms in frontend for different categories?
For example, I'd like to use k2 as bussines directory, news portal and classifieds ads on one site.
So, I need different form templates for users to adding items, ads and news.
One more question - is it real unregistered users can add items in k2?

Hi. Create several templates with overrides of the itemform.php file. Then create menu links to K2 edit form and choose the desired template.

Hi. No, non-registered users cannot add content. I thinks it makes sense....

I do not think so.
There are many situations where the user can add useful content, but not ready to register for this action.
May it possible to use some hack in code for this ability?

Of course you can hack the code. But keep in mind that you will need to reapply the hack everytime K2 gets updated. PS: Allowing guest users to post content to your site is really a very very bad idea....

At first, thanks for this dialog.
I can't hack your code, I'm not strong in php, may be very little, something in templates, not more.
And, of course I understand, that this changes needs to restore every time you release new version k2.
But, I'm not saying about allowing guest users to post content without moderation...
I just say that this option - must have.
I can explain.
I have some different sites.
They works on sobi2, sobipro, mosets tree, adsmanager.
All of them have option - allow guest users to post content.
When this option enabled - I can get new content, I only need to moderate it (I have an employee for this job ).
If this option disabled - nobody wants to post...
So, if K2 will have option to post unregistered users, I don't need to use: adsmanager, sobi, mosets etc...
Because, k2 have all needed options except this...
I'm very like K2, but some things very really limit me.
