Is it possible to upgrade from 1.0.2 to 2.0.0?
If so, where can I find a walkthrough?
My main concern is to keep the data we have in place intact, since K2 is being used in a production website.

Did anyone ever figure out how to upgrade and keep all content and extra fields? I really want to be able to upgrade my existing site.

Fotis responded to me on twitter:
"No upgrade path for that. You'll have to move content manually with SQL statements or some PHP script..."
