I installed the K2 with sample articles. I created the Default Home and the Category Layout without a hitch, but when I try to create an Item Layout, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /hermes/bosweb/web153/b1531/ipw.ktplant/public_html/new/administrator/components/com_k2/helper/TableInterfaceHelper.php on line 14

Can anyone help?

Actually, I should clarify... Creating the menus on the backend work... On the frontend, I am getting errors on both that I created.

Default Home:

Category Layout:

u are using K2 V1,right? Use K2 V2 and u will see: No Error...

Interesting. So uninstalling K2 deletes all content?

I had chosen to use K2 v1 because it came with sample content. I had used it on another site to show my team how it looked without a problem, and wanted to use it to show this client essentially the same thing.

I tried installing K2 v2 over it, and no go. So, how do I keep content and move from v1 to v2?
