bug in extra fields

bug in extra fields was created by luismolina
hi all, ive trying to test extra fields, i created group fields and extra fields in a category but they doesnt appear when i click on extra fields tab...

Have you assigned the fields group to the relevant category? And have you assigned the item(s) you want to attach those extra fields to to that category?

Sorry for hijacking this post, but I found another bug in Extra Fields; ExtraFields does not display extended characters correct within Items.
I created a new Extra Field called TestExtraFält and assigned it to a category.
In a new Item the Extra Field label displays as TestExtraFält
UTF-8 related problem?

When I try to add a new Extra Fields, I am forced to create a new Extra Fields Group every time. I cannot use the Extra Field Groups that allready exist. (I am using K2 v2.1 build 20090909). If this is not solved , K2 is useless to me. I hope this gets fixed ASAP. Thanks,

Hi. What do you mean you can't use existing groups? They aren't on the list? Do you get any error?

Hi,
No, I cannot use existing groups. I have to add e new group for every new Extra Field I try to make. The existing groups show up in the list, but I cannot choose one of them. I get a popup asking to create a new group everytime.

I am seeing the same thing. Just installed K2 (latest stable version) and am getting this exact same error. Is there a known fix? Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same problem.

I had to create new extra fields in the new groups and then manually change them in the database to the desired
