Joomfish Menu Translation

Joomfish Menu Translation was created by Jody Stone

I seem to have an issue with translation a menu. In my original language the K2 Menu is a Category view and when I translate the Menu I get an Item view. When I go back to Joomfish to view the translation the Menu link is missing the ID number at the end.

Any help on this would be great.

I am sure others are having this issue. I've turned SEF off, and checked the difference in the URL's this is what I get
index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&layout=category&task=&id=&Itemid=167&lang=fr
index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&layout=category&task=category&id=3&Itemid=158&lang=en

you can see the english one is longer, also the Task in french is missing and the itemid is wrong.

Any ideas anyone???

My problem is related to the SEF feature. No sure where to look to fix this problem.

Have the same problem with translations of menus...it´s cutting end of URLs, when I save the translation

Be great to have a fix for this ASAP as it is real show killer.
I have project coming up which may use K2 and Joomfish so may be forced to find solution myself in next few weeks.
Any steers on where to look would be great.

I found a solution for translation of menus that worked for me.....I went looking in the menu.xml file and tried some adaptations till it worked...see my xml file in attachment and change yours with this one (backup before trying anyway)
put the file in: administrator/components/com_joomfish/contentelements
afterwards go to the menu translation in joomfish...open each menu and click 'copy' next to it and you'll see it copies the complete url now....
Lemme know if it worked out!

I was having the same problem copying menu links with k2 urls in Joomfish...it works now, thank you.

I can confirm that too.
It works with the menu.xml replacement of Chucknology!!!

I have also problems with Joom!FIsh and k2.
When go to another than default language, and come back to default language, some of the menus disappear.

I was having the same problem with the menus for a multi-language site and just tried Chucknology's solution and now it seems to work fine.

The same problem.
Live url is www.vstsport.com
If go to English, than back to bulgarian during the flags, the left and top menu items disappear.
