Hi, this might be an unusual question, but I need this for a site I'm working on and I'm trying to figure out if this is possible in K2

The situation is as follows:
In a category view I have 6 subcategories. I've overridden the template so that each category shows just the titel and the category image.
Underneath each of those categories I'd like to show the 4 latest articles in that category as links.
As fas as I can see the model provides the view with things like $subCategory->numOfItems, but there seems to be no $subCategory->Items array or something like that.

Can I override the model somehow to achieve that?
