it would be great if a 'View Items' permission could be added to the permission list for a user group.

It would be greater if we could set which categories a user (and not a user group) can see the item(s).

I've already added the 'view items' permissions on a k2 site for user groups but because a user can only be part of 1 user group, it doesn't offer many possibilities.

I'm currently working on adding a k2 administration tab called 'User Rights' where the admin could set for each user the categorie(s) with visible items.

Hi Oliver, did You succeed in any of this -or better both?
I want to grant some users access to some categories and to some of them not.
How to get this done?
