Fatal error: Cannot access empty property

Fatal error: Cannot access empty property was created by Siegfried
When I try to access the parameters of the Categories, I get the following message:
Global Configuration
Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in .../libraries/joomla/registry/registry.php on line 146

The same error appears when I try to add a category to the main menu...

Any ideas how I could fix this?

Hi. What version of php are you using? Also check the permissions of your files.
