No avatar when comments are added with jomsocial, joomla, and k2 was created by yaksushi
I'm using K2 v 2.1 with jomsocial installed. How do I get the jomsocial avatars to link when users post comments to K2 articles? It's show the generic blank profile image with the users name and info. I've read all over the web and this forum and it looked like an issue what was supposed to be fixed with v 2.1 . Do i have a setting wrong? Thanks

I would also like to have jomsocial avatars being displayed, unfortunately there is never a proper answer on that, neither users nor developers seem to care - what a pity!

I am to the point of dropping K2 all together because of the lack of support, and poor intergration with joomla and other joomla extensions.

Why are you not using JomComment? Your Jomsocial users can load the plugin and see all the comments they post throughout the site. Check out the JomComment threads for integration. I have it up and running and it works flawless.
ZOO is a great paid CCK but plagued by the same lack of interest to integrate to Jomsocial/JomComment and much the same as here people with that interest have provided hacks and plugins to incorporate Jomsocial. Programming for special interest is not a fly by night deal. An integration release wont supersede a larger project, instead you may not even see the integration release until the time consuming project is done. Sad but true.
