How do I install 2.1, not upgrade

How do I install 2.1, not upgrade was created by JD Toony
I have a fresh installation of Joomla! and have tried and failed at installing 2.1.

Anyone know how I can accomplish this install? There's plenty of info on upgrading, but none on a fresh install.

Hi,

Can we have more details on your installation problem ?

To install k2, you just have to install the last k2 v2.1 build like any other extension.

When I go to the install in the Joomla! extensions admin, and try it there with the 'upload and install' button, after a long wait, the page goes blank white and does nothing.
