I wonder if you can include a module in the description of a category.
could be a solution to change the code as suggested for the standard categories of Joomla as suggested on this site www.kksou.com/php-gtk2/Joomla/How-to-include-modules-in-Section/Content-Description-for-Joomla-1.5.x.php ?
