I have a customer that insists on using several main categories and then have subcategories in each of them - some with the same name. Example:

Production-
General
Different subcategory
Etc.

Economy
General
Yet another subcategory
And etc.

Is there a possibility to set K2 up to show not only the name of the category, but the category path with each article?

As a breadcrub?

Each article in K2 can have the category displayed. He would like to have the parent categories included in this, but yeah, it would look like a breadcrumb.

Instead of Category: General

it should say Category: Production-General

I was asking because as much as I know, there is a problem with the Joomla breadcrumb when used with K2 v2.1.
I saw some posts on this site on how to solve the problem with K2 tools, but it was not working so well for all users, and my knowledge on how use K2-tools is like 00!
When they will released their new version, then your problem will be solved!

In the meantime, if you can solve your problems in another way, please add your solution to this thread!

Well, I said it would LOOK like a breadcrumb, not that I wanted a breadcrumb :-)

What I want is an expanded category label that includes the parent categories.

OK let's say:

categories:
Produkt
Sales
Marketing---> TV advertising

---

> Radio advertising > Article Radio100

When you read the article Radio100, you want to read:
Published in: Radio advertising > Marketing
Am I right?

Then maybe can you integrat the breadcrumb from K2-tools, write nothing where normally it stands "home"
and then integrate it to your item side.
As I told you at start I far to be a guru, but I think it makes sense don't you think?
