Hi:I have not been able to resolve a file permission problem when trying to upgrade.  File in the admin/components/com_k2 are owned by "nobody".   I receive an error telling me the file can't be moved).  Is it possible to do a clean install without losing my items (which are essentially blog entries.  Thanks for suggestions.Gary

don't uninstall the K2 2.1 Version - it will delete your DB Entries.

You can try to rename the "old" Folder and try to update, so you won't loos the files if something went wrong. Also make a DB and a Web backup to be save.
