I've got big problem with Simple Image Gallery, try everything I found on this forum to fix it and it still doesn't work :(

First of all i've got communicat:

"Notice: Please install the Simple Image Gallery (Free/Pro) plugin if you want to use the image gallery features of K2!"

I found solution to fix it - change jwsig.php (plugins/content) to jw_sig.php

but after this i still can't see gallery - i see only:

 {gallery}x{/gallery}.Plugin is enabled, source is "media/k2/galleries/x", version: k2 - v2.1build20090909 and sig - 1.2.1r2.Anybody can help??PS. Sorry for my english ;)

maybe it will work if you don`t only rename the files, but copy an rename them. So you have both inside the folder :
jw_sig.php and jwsig.php

Try this. In my Joomla it works!

Open /administrator/components/com_k2/models/item.php
in line 393 you have to edit the savepath to
$savepath = JPATH_ROOT.DS.'images'.DS.'stories';

and in line 408
$row->gallery = '{vsig}'.$row->id.'{/vsig}';

Hope it now works!

sorry . once more :
of course you have to change the path in line 423 and 424 too to be able to delet the gallery

We are working to find a more stable solution once and for all to image gallery problems.

I hope to have some news on this soon.

@K2Joom: I think the best solution is simple - add Image Gallery and AllVideo into K2 component.
@badabang: Thx for help - I try this way.

Basically SIG and AllVideo came before K2.
As these had Pro, payable versions, they stayed that way but always tried to make it work with K2.

Pro works with K2, I am awaiting to test this and provide some verification.
It is only a small cost, so should be worth purchasing if you need to run image galleries linked in with K2.

I will let you know when tested.
