Hi all...

 

loving K2 and contemplating converting my whole site (and some others) over to k2 entirely.

 

One thing I cannot nut out is...

 

I have my current site running with sh404sef and it is configured to include categorories, sections and 'Append to page title'

 

Thus the page:

www.sambayliss.com/coastal-landscapes/australia-south-coast-nsw/gerringong.html

 

has the title:

gerringong | australia south coast nsw | coastal landscapes by simon bayliss

 

which is:

 

page title | category | section + by simon bayliss

 

But if I was to use K2...  the title would be just gerringong UNLESS I custom edit/add in the paramters.

 

Is there a way to have it configure the same as the rest of the site. (I would love that as I could do a full K2 ste)

If you want to do it through SH404SEF, I believe you have to create a meta_ext file for it.

Personally, I did the quick and dirty version to get the type of results you're talking about by editing /components/com_k2/views/item/view.html.php

I can do it if I just renaime the categories... (with long names that replicate the normal Joomla/sh404sef system

Im surprised it is lacking in K2. (i.e. continuity with SEF)
