Hi i just installed the K2, and at first i wanted add new category, but when ever i try to save new category blank white screen is coming, i'm pretty sure that this problem not because of k2 but what can cose of it?

Yes i think we have same problem btw i tryed on 2 other website too (on same server) and i get same problem

Same problem here. I am happy to give access to my backend

i have the same problem it is exact the same .
but a little bet different that K2 is working very smoothly in my

localhost machine
i am using wamp server with [ php2.5.6 - mysql5.0.51a - apache 2.2.8 ]

but it is not working on my
hosting server which is using [ Linux CentOS 5 - php2.5.10 - apache]
so please help

is to enable php extension called mbstring ;
it is in php.ini

Hi,

I have the same problem and the solution is clearly to activate mbstring() in php.ini

However, my hosting provider (vebnest.com) refuses to activate this feature for my account (reason given is that hey know what is good for them.)

I there another work around?

No you don't need any knowledge, just you need to run this command on VPS (Command Center), or you can connect via ssh

yum install php-mbstring

if it's not help you can check forum.lxcenter.org
