K2 + gTranslate at category view gives "jQuery.cookie is not a function" was created by jeanette hustad
Hi,
I am using gTranslate to translate my site.
Seems it does not translate all pages, at some pages it gives me a javascript error which states "jQuery.cookie is not a function" .
This is happening on the category view and also at a single page where i have both a video and an image gallery.
Any ideas ?

I am away for two day, so wont get you response, but I can be found on Twitter.

Hi simon,
I am using the PrettyPhoto style cause this seems to display the images "cropped" in the lightshow if the image happens to be to big for the screen resolution.

Try using one of the mootools types to see if that has any effect as it could be a js conflict.

If i use Slimbox - mootools the translation works fine. So seems it is a js conflict as you state.
I'll just juse this then, it's better that the translation works than the images beeing cropped when displayed.
why didn't i think of this ???, - stack overflow - thanks Simon:-)

Hi Jeanette
Had you tried automatic translation plug in,It is using gtranslate, you will require to install joomfish and complete website will be automatically translated.
It is very simple to use, please have a try.
With best wishes.

Hi Shukla,
thanks for the tip:-)
Unfortunately joomfish and K2 does not work very well for me, cause when i have joomfish installed the frontend edit in k2 is not working. I actually had joomfish installed, and updated K2 to the new SVN version which allows frontend edit with joomfish, but i ran into to many bugs. So for the moment i cannot use this cause i need frontend editing.
thanks for the tip:-)

Hello d.k.shukla!
I can not find the plugin you are talking about. I found one but it did not support k2..i think that this would be the best solution.
Thanks
