I am new to Joomla and to k2.  I have a scuba diving related website and i would like to add a scuba buddy listing, you know find a friend to go scuba diving with.

 

The blog extention is greate in k2 but i need some extra fields to the users profile like.

 

First NameLast nameNicknameStreet Line 1  Street Line 2 City   State Province or departementZip/Postal Code   Country 

home phonework phoneOther phonecellpagerScocial network pageweb pageemailIMGenderDate of BirthDo you smokeOther information

 

Do i need to write a component for joomla or is there a way to do this with k2?

And is there a way for the user to select what field will stay private?
